Steven first came to Key West in 1971.
He was from Tavaries, Florida, and graduated from the
University of Miami in 1972, an English major.
Steven kept a house in Fire Island Pines in the mid and late 1970s.
He started getting sick in 1977, and
died of AIDS complications in New York City, on February 4, 1980.
