Tom Schweitzer, 1950-1986
The post-war 1950's, the boy-next-door fell in love with the boy-next-door. Thus began a deep, lifelong bond that endured for 27 years. With a carefree spirit, sparkling persona, and movie star good looks Tom Schweitzer would find success in any of life's endeavors but with all the options at hand he chose to be a flight attendant and travel the world enjoying life to the fullest, much like the precocious, and adventurous kids we were while growing up in Michigan.
Tom had fond memories of Key West and always said he would return, but fate would have it's way. 36 is too young to say goodbye forever. Tommy, we made the best of it, my best friend, my heart-to-heart, my childhood lover, the reflection of myself. I will never forget the love we had. You are with me always.
