I have a PhD in clinical psychology although the last 10 years have been spent in healthcare management and research rather than psychotherapy. Earlier on I worked mostly in addictions, child abuse and sexual trauma. I am with my terrific lover (Rene) of nine years whom I met in Key West. Originally from Los Angeles, after living in Key West for five years we switched to rural western North Carolina and are having a great time!

We have nearly 20 years experience as HIV+ between the two of us and consider ourselves very active in "HIV work". As a profession, I manage the practices of 45 HIV physicians and have been a statistician in some clinical trials as well as a participant. We enjoy mountain hiking, quiet living, our two dogs (a yellow lab - "Silly" and a jack russell terrier - "T-cell"). Since living well is both the best revenge and best prescription, we try to do just that as much as possible!
